Pattern On The Ranch | The Library
Our #KanabRanchProject is full of cozy and traditional elements. The design of the ranch harmoniously blends rustic charm with modern comfort, creating a sanctuary that feels both timeless and inviting. In the kids library our main goal was to make this room feel cozy and familiar. Something we have been loving right now is to color drench a room. What is that you might ask? It’s when you paint an entire room one color. Including the ceiling, walls, cabinetry, and trim. Keep reading for the paint color we used in this space.
Large windows frame the breathtaking landscape, allowing natural light to flood the rooms. To enhance the cozy atmosphere, we've also incorporated a variety of textures and materials. Plush rugs and ottoman’s offer comfortable seating options, while wooden shelves and tables add a touch of warmth and natural beauty.
Something that was really important to our clients was to incorporate their family quotes in this room. They sent us their quotes and we framed them in various sized frames to create this darling collage wall.
In the Library we worked with Park City Blind & Design to incorporate these plaid drapery. They add so much pattern and character to the space and really showed our clients personality. On the built ins we layered battery powered vintage lamps for another layer of interest. We used our favorite vintage pots and coffee table books for height and functionality!
We chose this warm gray paint color, WORSTED NO. 284 from Farrow and Ball. The result is a cohesive and inviting space where every detail feels thoughtfully curated. To complement the warm gray, we added natural wood accents, soft textiles, and greenery, creating a harmonious blend of textures and colors. The room now exudes a sense of warmth and comfort, making it the perfect gathering place for family and friends. Every corner tells a story, and the family quotes artfully displayed around the room serve as a constant reminder of love, togetherness, and cherished memories.
We are so excited to share more from our #KanabRanchProject. Stay tuned!
