The architecture is characterized by clean, minimalist lines, with an emphasis on open spaces and large, strategically placed windows that frame the vast desert landscape. “The palette is earthy and neutral, mirroring the hues of the desert — think soft sand tones, muted terra-cotta, and sun-bleached whites.” -Nichole    The interplay of shadow and light is another critical element in this design. Industrial beams and shaded courtyards provide refuge from the harsh desert sun, while clerestory windows and skylights draw in natural light, creating patterns and highlighting the textures within the home.
